Snowshoe Racing Schedule for New Hampshire and Southern Maine

With a pretty good base of snow and more expected this week, it is looking as if the 2018 snowshoe racing season will go off without a hitch. Unfortunately, the Granite State Snowshoe Series has dissolved, which means a few of the races that have always been on the schedule aren't taking place this year. However there's still plenty of places where you can kick up some snow this winter!

I've done my best to compile a list of all the snowshoe races taking place in New Hampshire as well as some in Southern Maine. There are also several multi-sport series that include ice-cleat and snowshoes divisions, like Winter Wild and the Packed Powder Series. While these aren't exclusive snowshoe races, you can still participate in a timed event and race other snowshoers.

New England will also be host to the National Snowshoe Championships this year in Woodford, Vermont March 9-11, 2018 (more details below).
